
The Arkham Asylum Files
I contributed narrative design and writing to a groundbreaking mobile AR game set in the DC Comics Universe.
In The Arkham Asylum Files, players use mixed reality to help Harley Quinn thwart a devious plot by some of Gotham City’s most infamous villains.
Writing for this experience was a stimulating creative challenge. It required me to think outside the constraints of traditional gaming narratives, while remaining true to the Batman universe’s tone and canon.
I wrote about 45 total minutes of scripts for live action and animated cutscenes, plus contextual dialogue. I also wrote copy for physical gameplay elements like newspapers and cookie boxes.
