I design mechanics, write lore and copy, layout text, and edit imagery for board games and tabletop roleplaying games. Here is some of my personal and academic work.

 
Splash art for introductory adventure

Lucid is an experimental RPG which takes place in the realm of dreams.

Players use a standard 78-card tarot deck to generate surreal stories and symbolic dreamscapes in the Collective Unconscious.

Design inspirations include Ten Candles and Something is Wrong Here, as well as theory for acting and performance art.

Amayzeen Grace is a medium-crunch “cyberlame” RPG about laboring for a megacorp in Corporate Year 75.

Players fill out a CV which describes their objective, education, and work experience - in other words, the sum total of their being.

Design inspirations include Paranoia and Forged in the Dark games.

Space Heist is a coop dungeon-crawling board game in which players infiltrate a Space Pirate Flagship to retrieve a powerful, stolen artifact.

I handled layout, copywriting, and game design on a student team as part of my game development curriculum at SCAD.

Boom and Bust is a competitive tycoon board game about industrializing the United States in the ‘20s and ‘30s.

I handled layout, copywriting, and game design for this project as well.
